Me, I'm just a fan of women's hockey . . .   I never played hockey (except
neighborhood street hockey as a teenager) but I now know quite a few girls
and women who do.

I grew up in Mass. and was an avid Bruins fan in the Bobby Orr days.  As an
adult I became extremely disillusioned with pro sports and stopped watching
them all.  About 8 years ago I "discovered" women's college and
international hockey and have been hooked ever since.

As a "Friend" of Dartmouth Women's Hockey I have gotten to know a diverse
group of fans, players and their families.  I have a very informal list of
other fans who I send articles and such to, so am always looking out for
info to share with others.  To me hockey is a passion much more than just a
sport.
