I am a 13 year old girl who is a majorly into hockey and I thank you for
the information and knowledge that you are introducing to the world and
national population. Until now I have not been able to find any
information to go on to find out about girls ice hockey. I have never
actually skated, but all of my friends tell me and I agree that I am a
extremely talented goalie in all sports, especially hockey. I was
"roped" into playing indoor field hockey this past winter and our team
was the only team to be undefeated. I would say that my large frame of
5'7 and 140 lbs. helps in a big way and also my aggressiveness in the
goal. After playing soccer for a season, my quickness and agility
increased even more and that improved me for hockey. I am hoping that I
can learn to skate quickly, as I do pick most things up quickly and I
also roller blade. Also I hope to join a team in need of a goalie in
the next few years, pending on if I learn to skate. Again thank you for
your efforts in spreading the information about women's hockey.

                                        Sincerely,
                                                    Jess Bennett
