Wow. Either I've been kicked off or there haven't been any postings for many
moons. Probably the latter because I haven't stirred the pot for what feels
like years. Come back, Shannon, all is forgiven :)

Enjoyed the Alberta/Quebec game today on TSN, but a very scary moment for
women's hockey when Hayley Wickenheiser was writhing in agony after
colliding with a teammate near the boards. You just know Hayley's made of
tough stuff and wouldn't have reacted that way unless it was really bad.
Daniele (Team Canada coach) was doing the colour commentary and she could
see the Minnesota Gold fading in the distance...but Hayley appeared in
civvies later in the game and took part in the awards ceremony, albeit with
the support of a couple of colleagues. She looked in good spirits, so
hopefully this won't set her back for the Women's Worlds.

Oh, for our American listers...Alberta Oval Extreme won the National title,
1-0 over Quebec.
