MacMillan Selected As WCHA Player of the Week

Madison, Wis. - First-year goaltender Jackie MacMillan (Buffalo, Minn.) has been named WCHA Player of the Week by the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Office.
	
MacMillan won two games over Bemidji State this past weekend, stopping 55 of 59 shots for a .932 save percentage in the series. The frosh ran her winning streak to seven games and her unbeaten string to eight with the victories. MacMillan, who has not allowed more than two goals in her last eight games, ranks third in the conference with a .708 winning percentage (8-3-1). Her 3.06 goals against average and .900 save percentage rank fourth in the WCHA among her peers.

Wisconsin (14-10-2, 11-6-1 WCHA) wraps its home schedule this coming weekend with a two-game series against fourth-place St. Cloud State (9-13-2, 4-10-2 WCHA). The Saturday and Sunday, Feb 5-6 games face off at 1:05 p.m. The Badgers are currently in third place with 23 points, three points behind second-place Minnesota.

An easy test for legal blade curve is if you can slide a puck under the blade 
then the curve is too much.

Is anybody here going to the game?  If so, you might see me.  Some of the
little girls I coach are going to be part of the CHA FUNdamentals
demonstration at the first intermission, and I'm the instructor in the
