Subject: Chicago Ice Tryouts and Registration
The Chicago Ice, Illinois's 1999 Senior Women's A state champions and
Illinois's oldest existing women's hockey organization will be holding
team registration skates and tryouts on September 11 and September 12.
We have three squads, playing at three different skill levels A, B and C.
If you are looking for a team to play on in the Chicago area, you can
contact us at email@hidden or just show to one of the registration
skates.
On Saturday September 11, we will skate at the Heartland Ice Arena.
Registration begins at 6:30 PM and the skate begins at 7:40 PM. On Sunday
September 12, we will skate at Johnny's Ice House. Registration begins at
1:15 PM and the skate begins at 2:30 PM.

Hi everyone!
We're back from our honeymoon (See whockey.com/wedding for pictures!),
and I'm finally getting a chance to catch up on some e-mail. My
apologies for letting the women's hockey web pages get somewhat out of
date. Between hockey starting back up and work, I'll try to get to
them when I have a chance!
I just wanted to let you know about an article that the Montreal
Gazette had about the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).

Subject: Need help finding practice ice time
I've decided to try hockey out this winter! I'd like to get in some
practice time at a rink in the West Toronto or Mississauga area, and am
wondering if anyone knows of any arenas currently offering public ice
time. (I'm making the leap to guy's skates, and want to practise
first.) If you know of any arenas currently offering it, or anywhere
offering basic techniques in the next month, please email me at
email@hidden. My league does include five weeks of skills and
learning, but I'd love to get myself comfortable in my new skates,
first.
