Subject: Help with Goalie gear

Hello everyone.  Thanks for your help with my question about teams in the 
detroit area, but  i got a new one.  I've been shoved into the possition of 
starting goalie for me team now that our former #1 goalie left us.  Because 
my league gear I've been using is waaaaay under par, I need to get some 
decent gear if I want to serve my team even halfway as good as Amber did.  
Does anyone have any sugestions on what kind of gear would be the best?  (I 
havent had good experiance with Koho or Cooper)  And where to get something 
in the Pacific NW (eastern washington mostly)?

Subject: Drop-in roller-hockey

Anyone interested in drop-in roller hockey on saturday nights?
Depending on your age, there is a one-hour block for each age group only on 
saturdays at US Blades in West Bloomfield, MI.  It is Co-Ed and costs $7.00.
(goalies play for free)

I went on Oct. 2, and I was the only girl to show up for the 15-17 yr old age 
group.

If more girls show up, the more we can show them that we really are good 
players.
The guys wont even pass to me probably because they see long hair hanging out 
of the back of my helmet.  

Hey, maybe next time I won't let them see me put my equipment on, and i'll 
tie up my hair and put my helmet on right away. Then they;ll think Im one of 
them, and maybe have a chance to touch the puck.

I consider myself a good player - i scored 3 goals in 2 games for my team.
Let's show others what we are capable of.  Go play.
