Regarding the game summaries, I do agree they make the digests quite
long - a shorter summary would improve the chances of it getting read!

On personal milestones, I got my first hat trick on Sunday (sort of) -
one was with no goalie (we were playing that on top of the turned down
net was a goal) and two were on a goalie (one on a short rebound and the
other a backhander after I got the goalie out of position). I just
started playing this year, so I'm really psyched! Hopefully I won't
have a scoring drought now...

We are about to post a new hockey site: www.USHockey.Net (Get in the Net!
The US Hockey. Net!) This site is strictly for amateur hockey players. The
site should be fully functional (graphics, links are still being added) by
next week. Of course there will be an area devoted to women's hockey. The
site will be growing over the next several months. (Check out the ref's page
- - you will have a renewed respect for these guys...)

Since the site depends largely on readers submissions - we are welcoming any
stories, quotes, tidbits, and suggestions on the women's page. Have you
heard any outrageous comments or quips during a game? Any directed at your
being female? (One of the partners of this site is a "woman in hockey." We
would like to keep the angle on the women's hockey (as with other areas)
serious, but entertaining.

Also - attn: hockey entrepreneurs. If you are interested in selling hockey
related items, please call 1-800-742-6466! We'd LOVE women's hockey products!

I have to voice my support for Ellen. I receive the diget
version of the list to cut down on time spent opening the
e-mails. I find the first section, with highlights of the
most recent game interesting, but I don't need to know
every players season stats, or long description of the
game. Since I get the digest, all of this is in the same
mailing as the other to the point e-mails, and I find that
I often miss one or two of these, which are of more
interest to me, as I skim past the excessive information
in the game reports. I can't just delete the messages I
don't want without also losing the one's I do.
