I would pay more too.
I always anxiously await "Hipcheck" and am suffering withdrwals without it.
USA Hockey magazine is good but they only devote a few pages to women's hockey.
All my best wishes to the success of "Hipcheck".

I have been the U.S. Editor for Hipcheck for about a year and a half,
covering College Hockey and Team USA during that span. Besides what you
have seen in print I have written stories for THREE issues that have not
been printed. Andy Devlin, the FORMER editor of Hipcheck has been let go. I
have not heard from anyone else at the magazine so have no idea what the
status of the magazine is (nor my status, for that matter). I believe at
this point the magazine needs an angel to survive. I hope it does. I
believe we were doing a good thing.

I just returned from Germany and "liederhosen" means leather pants.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Subject: girls hockey school

Hi
I heard from someone that there was a school in Edmonton, Alberta for girls
to do their schooling and play hockey and it sounded really interesting to
me. I can't seem to find information about it anywhere. Is there anyone from
around Edmonton who knows anything about this??

Thanks
CHERIE

GOPHERS REMAIN FIFTH IN WOMEN'S HOCKEY POLL

Following a split of a two-game series at fourth-ranked Northeastern over
the weekend, Minnesota remained fifth in the U.S. College Hockey Online poll
this week.

There were no changes in this week's rankings as Harvard remained first,
receiving eight of 10 first-place votes, with New Hampshire, which received
the other two first-place votes, and Brown in second and third,
respectively. The only other Western Collegiate Hockey Association team in
the rankings this week is Minnesota-Duluth, ranked sixth.

The Gophers face their toughest test of the season this weekend as they host
Brown and Harvard. Friday's game with the third-ranked Bears is scheduled
for 7:05 p.m. while Sunday's game with the top-ranked and defending national
champion Crimson gets underway at 2:05 p.m.

Subject: Shock Doctor Question

I just purchased a Shock Doctor and was surprised to see that there were no
instructions for fitting it included. What steps do I need to follow to
make sure it fits right? Does it get heated like the boil and bites or is
there another procedure? If it is too large for my mouth what can I do to
trim it safely?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Wendy
