Following is an update on Hockey 136, the College recruiting camp for 19 and 
under women.  It will be held June 21-25 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, 
Maine.
There are still some openings, so coaches, parents and players should contact 
me asap.  Information follows:

	      		Womenâs College Recruiting Camp


New Format          Five Days for $550          New Format

	 Hockey 136, the College Recruiting Camp Exclusively for Premier High 
School Women, brings together top women hockey players from across the United 
States and Canada to  Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine for five days of 
Skill Development,  Dry Land Training, College Admissions Seminars and  
Highly Competitive Games in front of the nationâs leading Womenâs College 
Hockey Coaches.  The camp will run from June 21-25, 1999.

	Gold Medalists Tara Mounsey, A. J. Mlezcko and Shelley Looney and 
Brown University standouts  Carly Regnier,  Ali Brewer and  Jordan Jiskra 
will direct on ice and dry land training. 

	Players will be on the ice for 4 hours a day.  They will be on teams 
of 15 skaters and 2 goalies and will participate in  5 games, 7 on-ice Skill 
Development Sessions,  7 Dry Land Acceleration and Strength Sessions,  and 4 
comprehensive College Admissions Seminars.  Players will receive a Hockey 136 
Jersey, a free copy of the Womenâs 1999 College Hockey Guide and will test 
the latest  Louisville hockey equipment designed especially for women.
	
	Hockey 136 is the ideal college recruiting camp for high school 
players.
Hockey 136 is the ideal training and conditioning camp for women going to the 
USA Hockey Womenâs 17-18 year old Camp at Lake Placid on June 27.  Hockey 136 
 will  help each player increase her skills and maximize her potential.

	College Coaches from Division 1 and Division 3  Schools will be in 
attendance and Playerâs Profiles will be Distributed to all college coaches. 
Certified trainers will be at all sessions. Players will live in college 
dormitories which have 24 hour security and four  bedroom suites including a 
living room and a private bath.  They will eat in the college dining hall 
which offers a wide variety of menu choices and an all you can eat policy.
	Hockey 136, is a specialized camp  for highly skilled 19 and under 
women hockey players.  In addition to lots of ice time, coaching from Olympic 
and elite college players, and targeted exposure to the top womenâs college 
coaches,  players receive focused advice on how to plan, prepare and develop 
strategies to take full advantage of the educational opportunities that are 
available to them.  The camp is structured to prepare each player for the 
realities of gaining admission to the college which best fits each playerâs 
talents, interests and abilities, both on and off the ice.  Hockey 136  will 
give each player a road map to  showcase areas of strength, reduce anxieties, 
and communicate their own individuality during the college admissions 
process.   

	Players will get to know their coaches and receive an honest view of 
what playing womenâs college hockey is all about. They will learn about the 
social  and academic side of college life, the choices and sacrifices 
involved with playing  competitive college hockey, the opportunities and 
demands of Division 1 and Division 3 college hockey and the colleges that 
will be  the best fit for them.
	
	Players will participate in the following college admissions topics:
	*  The College Admissions Process  
	*  NCAA Regulations and College Recruiting 
	*  SAT Preparation
	*  Financial Aid 
	*  Fitness, Weight Training and Nutrition
	*  Hockey Injuries
	*  Life as a College Hockey Player

	Enrollment is limited.  Interested players should contact Hockey 136 
as soon as possible.  The tuition, including room and board, is $650.  

	Tuition is  $550 if  application and check are received by June 1, 
1999.

Are there any women in northern New Jersey playing hockey?
I am a 32 year old beginner who's desperate to find a clinic to attend or a 
beginner's team to play on.  HELP!!!

Arena maps is best in the midwest.  I have tried a lot of our rinks in
the Atlantic region with little luck.  If you know the address, try
