Subject: Game Tapes Needed

I'm looking for the complete Team USA vs. Team Canada round robin game
from the Nagano Olympics as well as the Team USA vs. Team Japan round
robin game. The Canada game here in the US only had the first and third
periods shown. During the Japan game we lost power after just 5 minutes.
If anyone would like to help me out with these two games, please e mail
me!

Canadian Hockey Association
NEWS RELEASE

TWENTY-EIGHT PLAYERS INVITED TO NATIONAL WOMENS TEAM EVALUATION CAMP
CALGARY, ALBERTA - Twenty-eight players of the forty players that will be
invited have been selected to attend Canadas National Womens Team Evaluation
Camp October 5-12 in Toronto, ON, the Canadian Hockey Association announced
today.

The evaluation camp roster includes 16 members of the 1999 World Championship
Team which captured Canadas fifth consecutive gold medal at the 1999 World
Womens Hockey Championship in Espoo, Finland.

The coaching staff expects to add 12 more players to this Evaluation Camp
Roster, which will include players from the National Under 22 Team, along with
other possible candidates from the evaluation camps that were held this past
spring. The National Under 22 Program is designed to provide players with an
opportunity to experience international competition, on the international ice
surface and to experience everything that international hockey encompasses
such
as international travel, different playing styles and international
officiating.

"The players named today have demonstrated great ability and skill through
past
competitions and the spring evaluation camps," said Mel Davidson, head
coach of
the National Womens Team. "Once we have finalized the complete roster, we feel
confident we will have an outstanding blend of youth and experience for the
coaching staff to evaluate,"

The final 40 player evaluation camp roster will be named in August.

"The coaching staff has a difficult task in selecting the final 12 players,"
added Gatan Robitaille, General Manager, Womens High Performance. "The Under
22 program helps identify up and coming talent in womens hockey in Canada,
with
the ultimate goal of each player being eventually selected to the National
Team."

Upcoming events for Canadas National Womens Team include the 3 Nations Cup in
December, a final selection camp and tour in January and the 2000 World Womens
Hockey Championship in Mississauga, Ontario in April, 2000. The final roster
for the World Championship will be announced in February, 2000.
