The 1998-99 Western Division COWHL (Central Ontario Women's Hockey
League) All-Star Teams have just been announced...

First All-Star Team

    Goalie:
        Jen Dewar, Mississauga Chiefs
    Defense:
        Nathalie Rivard, Mississauga Chiefs
        Sue Merz, Brampton Thunder
    Forward:
        Andria Hunter, Mississauga Chiefs
        Angela James, Beatrice Aeros
        Vicky Sunohara, Brampton Thunder

Second All-Star Team

    Goalie:
        Kendra Fisher, Beatrice Aeros

    Defense:
        Carol Cooper, Mississauga Chiefs
        Gillian Ferrari, Beatrice Aeros

    Forward:
        Lori Dupuis, Brampton Thunder
        Annie Fahlenbock, Mississauga Chiefs
        Jayna Hefford, Brampton Thunder

The Western Division All-Star Game will take place at the Beatrice Ice
Gardens at 7:30pm on Monday, February 15th.  The format will pit the
Provincial Champions (to be decided on February 7th at the OWHA Senior
AAA Provincial Championship) vs an All-Star Team selected from the
above players and from other players in the Western Division.

Fourteen of the players who represented Canada at the Three Nations Cup
Championship in December 1998 (and 2 players on Team USA) play in the
