Subject: Article on women's hockey

I am writing an article on women's/girls hockey for the Great Lakes Hockey
Alliance Magazine (a midwestern/eastern publication).  I am seeking input from
.... women that play hockey.  If anyone wants to add their two cents I am
looking  for brief comments on 1.)  Why you play hockey  2.) Where you would
like to see the sport in the next 5-10 years.   Also - anyone with stats on
growth of college hockey for women would be appreciated.  Send comments to

I'm happy to announce that we've just released a new system to archive
our mailing lists.

This new system has a number of new feature and a lot more flexibility.
If you used our old web archives, you know they were simply html pages
that you could view. The new system allows you to not only read the
lists via the web pages, you can post messages as well. It also has an
integrated search engine and the ability to set up a subscription list
and use the web site to follow new messages -- if you prefer browsing
via the web over reading messages by e-mail, we now have the capability
to let you do that.

The URL for the new system is , and I
encourage you to take a look. It's the first piece of a number of new
features we'll be adding to the site over the next few weeks as we
crank up for the new hockey season.
