Greetings lovies... jsut an update. As you, or some of you know, i've been
elected manager of my high school varsity hockey team. Mostly because i can't
skate to save my life, but did work my ass off through tryouts, earning
manager.
Today talking to my friend, she got a tryout for Team Michigan in Fraser...
I'd have tryed out already but Mum doesn't want to drive me all the way up
there. I'd love to go up there with her, try out and earn my place on that
team, but right now my heart isn't into it... I hate this feeling. It makes me
feel so ICKY!
Any way, untill the spring league starts up at Farmington, or i can get a
ride/tryout for Michigan i am but a manager... wanting to skate with them
every second.

defeating first-year program Bemidji State and club program Minnesota-Duluth.
Minnesota made the trip north to Bemidji Saturday and outshot the Beavers 68-1,
getting goals from eight players and points from 13 players.
The offense was led by Amber Hegland (Farmington, Minn./Farmington), who had
her second two-goal game of the season, and Jenny Schmidgall (Edina,
Minn./Edina) with three points each.
Crystal Nicholas (Tulsa, Okla./Union) recorded the shutout, in her first
collegiate start.
Sunday saw Nicholas and the Gophers post another shutout as Schmidgall scored
four goals and Brittny Ralph (Brooklyn Center, Minn./Brooklyn Center) added a
career-high four assists. Tracy Engstrom (Willmar, Minn./Willmar), who scored
her first career goal Saturday, also added a pair of goals.

MINNESOTA STATE, MANKATO RECENTLY--The Mavericks picked up their first two wins
by sweeping a home-and-home series with Gustavus Adolphus over the weekend.
Friday, Minnesota State was faced with a 2-0 deficit late in the third period
at Gustavus before Tina Serafin scored with 6:30 to play and Michelle Sikich
added the tying goal with 45 seconds to play while goalie Jenny Padget, who
stopped 26 shots, was pulled for an extra attacker. The Mavericks then got their
first-ever win when Alexis Schmidt-Pederson scored 1:08 into overtime.
