Subject: Womens Hockey Ontario Community Colleges

Could I please get a response as to the interst out there to have a
tournament for players at the Ontario Community College level. I was
thinking if it would be possible to schedule during Spring Break
(Reading Week) in Sarnia at the new sports center. It could be run
during the day when icetime is cheaper.

Subject: Colorado Women's League

Just a note to anyone in the Colorado Front Range who is interested in
playing in a women's ice hockey league.   A new ice rink is opening in
Winsor this month and they are trying to get a women's league started.
This is a NO EXPERIENCE necessary league so anyone with equipment can come
play.  The sign-up deadline is coming up soon so if you are interested,
please e-mail me personally or call the league contact, Michelle, at
970-482-8753.

Subject: FREE Scrimmage in Austin TX, Nov 22

Let's play some hockey!

Chaparral Ice has invited all women in the Central Texas area to a free
women's ice hockey scrimmage on Sunday, November 22.  Teams will be
assigned upon arrival, so bring both a light and dark jersey to wear.  Be
dressed and in the stands at 11:45 a.m. for team assignments; the
scrimmage starts at 12 noon and runs until 1 p.m.

This is the first in a series of free women's scrimmages in the Austin
area to promote women's ice hockey.  For more information, contact Leslie

I didn't see her on t.v. but, last weekend at N.H.L. breakout, which is a
roller hockey festival in the parking lot at the beach, Cammi taught a
women's clinic. She was soooo nice. She taught a few basics about shooting,
passing and stick handling. She also told us a little about her Olympic
experience. She  gave away a few of her sticks. She has a stick that,
I think, Louisville is selling. It has her name painted on it.
     The clinic was really worth going to.
