Team Michigan Girls'/Women's Hockey will be having summer skates on
Wed nights starting June 17 at Great Lakes Sports City (Fraser, MI).

We will be having separate sessions for 12&under, 15&under, 19&under,
senior(20+), and new this year, and an Intro to Hockey session for
the beginning female player.

The sessions will be a combination of drills and scrimmages, with the
exception of the senior skates, where we will just have scrimmages.

For more info, email me, Rhonda at email@hidden or just send me
your mailing address and I'll throw a flyer in the mail.

Flyers are also available at the rink.

From the Canucks' Orca Bay mailing list:

>$15,250 IN SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED BY PACIFIC COAST AMATEUR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

>Vancouver, B.C. -- The Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association, in
>conjunction with the Vancouver Canucks and Dueck G.M., has presented seven
scholarships totaling $15,250 to 19 Vancouver area minor hockey players to
put towards their post-secondary education.

>One of the most notable winners this year was Natalie Neetz who was
selected as the PCAHA's most outstanding applicant to the Scholarship
Program. Natalie is a goaltender for the Chilliwack Midget C Subway Sharks
and is very active in the community and at her school, Chilliwack Senior
Secondary. She is a top academic student, involved in Students' Council, the
Grad Council and was a counselor at Athletes in Action Hockey Camp. Last
summer Natalie was the Midget Coordinator for the Chilliwack Minor Hockey
Association and earned the respect of everyone with whom she worked.

Does anyone know where I can find the new CCM 852s? I tried calling Maska in
Vermont, but there are too many digits listed for their 800 number in the
Inside Hockey magazine. Any suggestions would be welcome since my old skates
are so broken down I'm using a roll of tape at each game taping the ankles!

Thanks!
