Yes there are some good female hockey camps! RinkSport is by far one of the
best camps offered in the US. My daughter has attended the camp for the past
3 years and each year they offer progressive programs. This is a serious camp
for the serious hockey player. This year they are offering a program for
college bound players. This camp is coached by Division I and Nationa Team
coaches, as well as some outstanding college and national team players. If
you are interested in coming to Alaska for the camp, your daughter could stay
with one of the Anchorage families here. We have done that for the past 3
years that the camp has been here and have hosted girls from all over the US.
Contact Kush Sidhu, Camp Director, at for more
information.

I know that Kush also recommends the Dartmouth Camp and can tell you more
about it as well.

Also, do you know of any U-19 tournaments this fall in the Vancouver, BC area?

This just in from the StarsCenter.

There is going to be a women's hockey clinic
at the Galleria Ice rink in Dallas
at 12:00.

I also heard a something (unconfirmed) that there
is a second clinic at the Ice-O-Plex in
Addison at 3:00.

Two of the members of the Team USA will be there.
The clinic is open to women and girls of all
ages and abilities.

My daughters will be there in full gear and
their wheaties boxes. We can hardly wait.

Jay Provost, a patient and excited hockey dad.
