Subject: Tony's take on Cammi

Hey folks! Jim Rome (sports radio personality) just had Tony Granato
on air with him today and Jim asked where Cammi winning a gold medal
ranks in Tony's hockey career. Tony said that it ranks #1. Cammi winning
gold is basically the highlight of his hockey experience.

Jim was very impressed, as was I. Tony remarked that Cammi had always
been there to support him and she had to fight through a lot to play
hockey, as did all the women on the USA team. Tony's a class guy.

I am 17 years old and have been wearing glasses for the past 12 years.
This is only my second year playing hockey and I to can not wear contacts.
I have two pairs of glasses; one pair for everyday that has special options
to help me see and bifocals, and a pair for hockey only. My hockey only
glasses do not have any bifocal, since you are never looking at things that
close to your face (unless it is a "high stick" or a "high flying puck").
I have found that getting a large pair of youth sized glasses or small
pair o adult glasses works best. Make sure the side pieces (temples) are
as close to your head as possible. I also would recommend taking your
hockey helmet with you and once you find frames you like see if they fit
COMFORTABLY under your helmet. I stress the comfortable part because
otherwise you could end up with some pretty nasty blisters on your ears.
Some nice "extras" I have found that help are: spring loaded frames (not
available for all designs), scratch coated lenses, a breakage/warranty
package from the optical place, light brown tinting- helps reduce glare
from ice inside bright white arenas, and "metal" frames-not plastic-they
fit better under a helmet.

If anyone has any ,ore questions please e-mail me privately.
