I'd just like to say thanks for all of the advice on the mouthguard. I
went ahead and ordered a Shock Doctor mouthguard.

The local stores didn't carry them and weren't particularly willing to
order one; I was able to find a place in Texas (Slapshot hockey) that had
them in stock.

The instructions were easy to follow. I was able to walk home, drive
to UPS, pick up the package, mold it and still make it back over lunch
hour.

At first, I thought it was a little too large (I'd gone with their
recommended size 'L'); now that I'd gotten used to it, it feels about
right. I imagine I'm close to the dividing line between the M/L, though.
It's comfortable; a lot more comfortable than the cheap $2 ones and about
as good as the orthodist's one (and about $360 cheaper).

Anyway - Thanks.
Eric

Oops, there was an error in the last message i posted, the result of the
following game was wrong, it should be:
  25.03.98 FŸssen 19:30 France - Germany 0:10

The last spot of WWC99 goes to Russia!
The Russian Women defeated the Norwegians 6:1 (1:0,4:1,1:0) at Zuchwil
(Switzerland).
It was a onesided game, as Norway managed to fire not more than 15 times on
Russian net. Russia had everything under control for the hole game, but the
looked very tired.

The Womens World Championship Group A 1999 in Finland, will be held with
the following countries:
USA
Canada
Finland
China
Sweden
Germany
Switzerland
Russia

The Womens World Championship Group B 1999 in ??, will held be with the
following countries:
Norway
France
Czech Republic
Denmark
Latvia
Slovakia
Nederlands
Japan

regards, Nick

If the Shock Doc is too big, you can use a sharp scissor (or exacto knife) to
cut of the excess in the back. I would recommend re-boling it afterwards to
smooth out the edges.

The question was:
Which District of USA Hockey includes Tennessee? Who is the Girls'/Women's
contact for that District?

Tennessee is part of Southeastern District and Kush Sidhu is the director of that area for USA Hockey's womens program. He can be reached at 301-279-0919 H or 301-738-3436 W.
