Subject: Mail order hockey gear?

Hi!  I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good, reputable mail 
order hockey source in the USA/Canada?  Even Web site addresses would be 
great.  Our team is considering ordering some gear, and someone thought 
that maybe it would be cheaper (?) to mail order it.  For example, we 
pay $35 for socks that you can buy for $14 in Canada, and $60 for 
shinpads that I saw in Walmart, Vancouver for $28!  Oh, and we're in 
Australia.

Our hockey association has a web page - it was a bit disappointing - I 
was hoping it would be a bit more detailed.  I might try to make one for 
our team if I ever get the time (and read the FrontPage book!).  Our 
team, the Redbacks, was formed at the start of this season, and we've 
lost every game so far (except one - we tied 1-1).  We play with the 
15-and-under boys teams!   It is lots of fun, and yes, I WILL make a 
Webpage for us!
