I had the same problem when I was playing three or four times a week in
grad school -- my chin had broken out into such a mess (and I normally
have clear skin -- especially at THAT age!)

I went to a health food store with a friend and on a whim decided to ask
if the sales guy recommended any soap products to clear my chin up. He
suggested the Kiss My Face brand and I've used it ever since. I use the
olive oil and aloe formula -- just be sure to air dry the bar after each
use or it breaks down.

Good luck to your daughter's face! :)

Subject: roller vs. ice

Hi everyone,

I am at about the same level of ice hockey ability as Anne Paulson (at least
I'd describe my ablilties in a similar fashion) and also have been skating
about 1 year. I've been thinking about maybe trying roller hockey this
spring - I want to take advantage of the wonderful San Diego weather. I
have only been on roller blades twice and each time had to fight the urge
to stop like I do on ice. Other than that, I enjoy roller blading. I guess my
issue is - will playing roller hockey help or hurt my ice hockey game? How
much of my ice hockey equipment can I use in roller hockey? I know some
of the rules are different, and I'm pretty sure I can pick them up. How do
people who play both find the transition between the two? I guess I have a
lot of questions about this and would welcome any advice - email me
privately at email@hidden if you don't want to tie up the list.

Thanks!

I have Missions. I bought them a couple of years ago based on the
recommendation of someone on the list. I like them a lot, and my husband
also bought a pair, and he really likes them too. I tend to have all
kinds of trouble with shoes, so I've been pleasantly surprised by these
skates.

I'd like to hear more about the horror stories, though. Are there things
I should be watching out for? What kinds of problems have others had?

Thanks!

Is there anybody in Northern Colorado (Loveland, Berthoud, Greeley, Longmont,
Fort Collins or anywhere near any of these places) that is going to the
Women's USA/Canada game in Colorado Springs on the 28th of January? I would
really like to go, and I need a ride. So if you're going, drop me a line.
Thanks

No, no, don't email privately. I want to know the answers to Jennifer's
questions too, and this is surely an appropriate topic.
