Happy New Year to everyone!

After a four year hiatus, with the urging of my young daughter, I am
getting back (slowly) into in-line hockey again. I am looking to
purchase a new pair of in-line skates (my old ones are thrashed) and I
was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as far as the new hockey
specific brands go.

Thanks!

Tammie

Tammie,
I would highly recommend CCM Tacks. I have 355's and have been very
happy with them. I originally intended to go with Mission skates but
changed my mind after hearing alot of 'horror' stories about them.
I would be interested in hearing what people who have them think
though...
Good luck and keep playing!

Tammie,
I don't know about the CCM's, haven't tried them, but I do know that I
have a pair of the Bauer H7's. And, I am extremely pleased with the way they
fit. To me, they feel the same as my 4000 skates. They roll very smooth, and
come with decent wheels, not the factory ones. The only complaint I might
have is that they are super stiff and take forever to lace up, but then again,
you are going to find that with most inline hockey skates. But, once you break
them in, they're great!!

                                                                          Good
Luck!

Don't ask me how my conclusion got so scrambled on the skates mail. I
look like a twit. Here, maybe this will turn out better:

I have Bauer H3's I'm pretty sure thats what they are anyways. Once you get
used to them they're good, but before that they killed my feet. They are also
kinda stiff to lace up. I had to replace some of the wheels with harder ones,
the ones that came with them probably were'nt meant for outdoor roller hockey.
Otherwise they're pretty good skates, plus I got a great bargain on them, I
bought them on sale for $79, the original price was $169.
I need some opinions on roller hockey sticks, for outdoor use. Roller
hockey season is coming up and I have one of those dinky $10 Franklin ones you
buy at K-mart. So if you could tell me like which brand is better or something
that would be cool.
