Thanks to everyone that responded. Thought I'd let ya know what's going on.
And sorry again for the length of this thing. I did end up filling in, and I
guess it's true that if they call me to fill in I must be worth something to
them... or someone there, at least. The camp that I was helping out at
started at 6 in the morning, but the goalies didn't have to be on the ice
until 7:30, so I got myself up at 6:20 to make it there and get all my stuff
on in time. I get on the ice at 7:30 on the dot, and end up waiting there for
45 minutes before I'm needed. Ok, I can understand that, the class is running
later than scheduled. Once I'm needed, I'm stuck in a rotation with another
goalie that liked to have a bit more time in net than he should have. Again,
no fault of the coach. However, after camp for that day was over and I was
getting changed, he walks into the locker room, chats withone of the other
players, and doesn't bother to say thanks. I excused him not saying Hi to me
in the morning, but after getting up that early it would have been nice to get
a "thank you". He also had told me the day before that he would tell me that
morning wether or not he needed me for the rest of the week. Well, he didnt
say anything to me at all, so I took it as a no. I show up Tuesday for Stick
and Puck and he asks me where I was... and asks me to come again on Wed.
Silly me, I go. And the same thing again. But not only did I not get a
"thanks", I got yelled at for getting on the ice 10 minutes late (and I still
had to wait until I was needed). So, he was without a netminder for the rest
of the camp.
So.. Bryndlion, I guess there are offers that I shouldn't take. I guess this
was one of them. But someday when I'm big and famous I won't
say thanks to him either.
	Thanks for letting me vent.
	Amy
