Does anyone have the results for the Dallas Women's Summer Classic?

I believe it was held in the middle of July.

Thank you.

Can someone tell me what a hip flexor is and how to
treat it while you still have hockey and/or soccer
practice every day?

I had a hip flexor injury last fall - caused by skating too much ( I attended
a weekend hockey camp - 3 hrs on the ice for 3 nites in a row - I was not
ready for that!!)

A good way to locate your hip flexor is to sit in a straight back chair - it
is in the crease where your leg meets your body.

If you MUST skate & play soccer, use a moist heat pack before you play, (to
help you loosen the muscles), and S-T-R-E-T-C-H !!! and use an ice pack when
you are done (to reduce the swelling.) But a few days rest can work wonders
too!

Also, perhaps a good massage therapist can work it out too. 8 months after I
thought it was better, I was getting a sports massage, and the therapist
started to work on my hip flexors. He noted that soemthing was not quite
right, & asked me if I had an injury there!! He then found the right spot,
and pressed down so hard I almsot screamed! It was pretty painful. Then he
was pushing harder & harder, then the pain started to go away. When he
stopped, he asked me to move my leg, and it felt great!!

If it is lingering for a few days, you should see a doctor, or get an
evaluation by a licensed PT.

Hope this helps.
