Jill

I saw the show - it was great with a lot of attention to the players
backgrounds. Great promotion. Also, your coach was well poised
and made some great comments. Most of the girls on our teams
here saw it - the younger ones will get a chance on saturday.

Just watching CBC Newsworld a few minutes ago and they were introducing many
Olympic athletes (including most of the women's hockey team) at the House of
Commons in Ottawa. Two of the three Team Canada coaches were introduced, one
was noticeable by her absence.

I don't really want to get into this but unless I want to be confused I think
I will. I'm assuming you mean Shannon Miller. But I really wouldn't know. I
have just kinda skimmed all of that stuff. But what is so wrong with Shannon
Miller? I think I may have missed something.

Check
http://www.canadianhockey.ca/teams/women/nagano/profiles/knystrom.html.
Nystrom received a full hockey scholarship to Northeastern. Whether or not
she played there is not mentioned. Does anyone know?

I don't mean to seem rude but why is everyone bashing Shannon Miller? I
thought she did an amazing job with the National team, and I think she
had every right to say that Canada would win the Gold. I thought that
we would, the critics thought that we would, and so did the rest of the
world. I am disappointed that she isn't the coach anymore. Just think
about what would have happened if we won. She would be glorified. But
since hockey is a two way game we lost, and everyone is jumping on her
back. What's with that? She did her best and it was good enough.
