Petition Update: Day 1

To all:
Thank you for the great response! I sent that last note out about
24 hrs ago, and have 30 names and e-mail addresses already for my
list. I think we need to get way into the hundreds to have any kind
of impact...so solicit names and addresses wherever you can and get
them back to me at
email@hidden

C'mon guys, if you want to see something done, we all have to pull
together and make it work! Post a message on web pages and put my
address! Anything! We need everyone's help!

I have a new idea to get this petition across...in addition to
names/e-mail addresses, also send me your age and location, so I can
pull together some stats about who will be watching the games and
where...thanks much...spread the word!!

include mine!

Subject: Quebec
Message-ID:

I'm taking an elective called "French Canada" this semester (my final!).
It is basically the history of Quebec with some other stuff thrown in. I
actually got approval from the professor to do a term paper on the history
of women's hockey in Quebec.

Other than "On the Edge" (although I'm not sure how much Quebec history is
covered in the book - if any), does anyone know of any other sources for
this subject. I would be happy to travel to Quebec to meet with someone
for an interview.

Any ideas?

I've volunteered to handle the statistics for the Central Ontario Women's
Hockey League (Senior AAA), the highest level of competive women's hockey in
Ontario. I'll be posting the standings from time to time. Information on
the COWHL is also available at:
    http://www.dgp.toronto.edu:/people/vv1/COWHL.html

The Provincial Championship will be played next weekend in Cobourg, ON. The
winner advances to the National Championship that will be played in BC in
March. For more information on the Provincials, check out:

Thankyou for the helpful information, it was greatly appreciated. I wasn't
aware that MSU had a womens' hockey program. Have you applied for varsity
status? Are there plans to upgrade the club's status in the future? Does
MSU host a womens' hockey camp during the summer months? I would appreciate
any information you could send me about the program, and anybody's address
that I could contact(such as the coaches)to learn more about the program.

                                             Thanks,
