Tournament Feb. 27-March 2? Our Tucson women's team is planning on
going, but I haven't heard of any other teams yet.
The Southern California Rays will be sending two teams. Looks like this is
going to be a good year for the women in Las Vegas.
Anyone else interested in the tourney. Here is the information. You have
until Jan 15th to get your registration in. I am in no way connected with
California Hockey Productions, so contact them, not me about the
tournament.
P.S. Sorry about my vacation notice. The thing goes automatically and I
didn't discriminate on to who it should go to. Sorry again, but Happy New
Year.

1997 Las Vegas Women's Hockey Classic.
February 27-March 2, 1997
o 3 game minimum plus playoffs at the Santa Fe Ice Arena
o USA Hockey no-checking, no-fighting rules.
o Complimentary tournament T-shirt for each player
o Championship and 2nd place award
o All-Tournament and MVP selection awards
o USA Hockey certified referees
o $75 discount for team organizers
o Souvenir program for each player
o Post-game refreshments served in the locker room
Games will begin at 7 pm on Thursday evening, February 27th and
continue around the clock (they are not kidding about the around
the clock part!) Tournament will conclude by 4 pm on Sunday
afternoon March 2nd.
Prices based on 14 players per team. Package is for
Thurs-Fri-Sat nights. Extra nights are available, contact
California Hockey for details. Players who wish to participate
in the tournament only (no hotel), price is $139. Prices are in
US Dollars.
To register your team for th e Las Vegas Women's Hockey Classic,
fill out the form below and send with a non- refundable deposit
of $200. Registrations will not be accepted without a deposit.
Registration will close on January 15 or when all spots are
filled. Please register early to avoid being shutout.
Full Payment is due February 3, 1997.
