The teams are set, after sectional play, for the state tournament. In the
first round, defending champion Roseville 25-0-0 the section 4 champions plays
Hibbing 20-4-0 the section 8 champions at 12:05 PM. Blaine 17-6-1 the
section 7 champions plays Owatonna 18-6-0 the section 1 champions at 2:15
PM. Hopkins 20-5-1 the section 6 champions plays Eagan 20-4-0 the section 2
champions at 7:05 PM. Mounds View 18-6-1 the section 5 champions plays
Stillwater 16-8-1 the section 3 champions at 9:15 PM. All games are on
Thursday 2/20 at the State Fair Coliseum in St. Paul.

I know that this is a dying thread, but... I recently learned that a
USA Hockey National Championship will be offered to college club
teams. It will be interesting to see what type of rules USA Hockey and
the NCAA establish regarding player eligibility! Perhaps most important
will be the issue of whether or not there will Championships afforded to
Men, Women and Coed. Or will this be a men only deal? Haven't been
able to get a clear answer, but have been able to confirm the concept.

As a project for my last MBA class (yeah!), we are doing a mock business plan
for a line of women's hockey equipment. Part of this project includes research
with female hockey players to determine market needs for these products. We have
developed a short "focus group" type survey to gather some information. Your
response would be greatly appreciated!
