I also went to Rinksport the last two years. It is a great camp.
Besides calling them, you can email the director (Kush Sidu) at
email@hidden or you can check out their website at
http://www.webspawner.com/users/rinksport/. I really recommend this
camp.

Hi Chris!

     Wow,
 AM IIMPRESSED!!!!!
You are one awsome woman.
Hope you are aware of the FLAMES.
If you are new to the List, you will see much on women's hockey camps. Seems
like they are mostly in Michigan.

With whom are you playing NOW?

Hope you are having a good hockey year with Andy. Haven't seen Scott lately,
but I imagine he's sleep deprived? How is it with law school and a full-time
job?

Include Cincinnati, Ohio as finally having a Women's Team! We had our first
practice last night (after desperately hunting down every female player
within an hours drive!) and have came up without about 8 really good Players
and 1 excellent Goalie. Thanks to the state of Michigan for providing about
4 really excellent gals who ended up in Cincinnati via job transfers and
family moves! Keep sending em Michigan! We are also opening up our team to
total beginners, we had about 5 last night, with the plan being to work and
practice with these ladies until they are ready to attempt regular shifts
with the travel team. I think this is an excellent idea as the thought of
starting to play hockey and having to do it with experienced men is very,
very intimidating to alot of women. I'm one of those people who would like
to see hockey opened up to everybody, young and old, disabled, mentally
challenged, etc! For me personally, this was my first time to experience
playing with and against other women, but due to the high caliber of players
we got, it was great! I told my team mates "If we scrimmage and I start
pushing, shoving, hitting, slashing and trash talking - don't get too mad at
me, it's an ingrained habit from the years of playing with men!" I'm gonna
work on it, but it's hard to change your playing style, hopefully I'll be
able to make the transition back and forth between men's league and women's
league and maybe it will ultimately make me a better player. I'm a very tiny
player (4'11" 96 lbs) so even with women I'm totally outsized and need to
still stay aggressive to run with the "bigger dogs". If any of you have any
experienced friends in this area or friends who are total beginners, drop me
a line, we would love to have them on board! If anyone in the Ohio, K.Y.
area has a team and wants a game,. let me know.

Jen,
I have not heard of anything and I've been looking around for about two
months. Also, I talk to other parents and no one has mentioned one.
