(Canada/USA) The Sports Network (TSN) in Canada is showing the 3 Nations
Tournament on Saturday the 20th at 3:30 pm (Eastern Time). I don't know if
this is the final "live". but perhaps others know.

And just in case your wondering, since I know all of the people
involved, I think Anne is seriously over-reacting and needs to mellow
out. The way the original question was phrased it WAS set up as a trick
question, as in "you guys will never think to think about the women's
team".

To be honest, Anne, you're acting like you have no sense of humor here.
I know you have one, because you put up with me. But it seems to have
some blind spots.

Tonight, my 16 year old daughter joined her 11 year old sister playing
hockey. I can't tell you how neat it was to watch them out on the ice
together. Another figure skater bites the dust as she feels the power of
skating fast and carrying a big stick!

Just to let you all know, a new women's hockey book has been released!

In, Too Many Men on the Ice: The story of women in Hockey, co-authors
Joanna Avery of Westboro, MA, and Julie Stevens of Edmonton, Alta.,
celebrate and chronicle women's hockey in North America. Is women's hockey
distinct? Is it a marketable product? How will the Olympics change the
nature of the game? The book addresses these questions and compares the
Canadian and American hockey development systems by following the careers of
two former national team players (Angela James, and Kelly Dyer).

Our local female hockey program is selling books as a fund raiser, so if
you wish to order this book (and support female hockey!) you can mail me at
email@hidden and I will send you the details. Cost of the book is
$16.95 U.S. plus shipping.

You can also order on-line from Amazon Books at:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=189609533X/richmondgirlsiceA/

But.. they are charging 19.95 U.S. and, it will take more than 4-6 weeks
for delivery.

For more information about the book, check out the book's web site at:
http://www.ualberta.ca/~jstevens/toomany.htm

Also, for those of you who were interested in seeing what the new Esso
Olympic Hockey Heroes cards look like, please check out my web page at:
