Mike is right...the game at Cheel arena was a wash-out on Wednesday night.  
There were a few reasons for this, but I won't go into that here.

I still feel that, in an area where "Hockey is Life" for most people, more
would have wanted to support our national team.  Of course, this is my 
feeling, and I can't expect everyone to feel the same way.  As I explained
to Mike in a personal note, I think the Clarkson women are much more 
supportive of women's hockey because we have had to work so hard to get the
chance to play (this is our first full season).  

We have come a long way, there actually is going to be Olympic women's 
hockey!

I've seen rosters for every team but the host nation for the upcoming
tourney in Ottawa.  Does anybody know who is playing for Canada?

Well, I had no idea what a thread I was going to spin with
my comments about resale of equipment!  I was glad to see
the number of good suggestions on how to reduce theft while
ensuring that equipment can be available at good prices.
I'm sure a lot of the women's hockey world would suffer
without these stores.  I also want to apologize to anyone
affiliated (officially or non) with Play It Again Sports,
since I had no intention of picking on them specifically.
Hats off to those stores which do everything within their
power to catch equipment thieves & bring them to the police.
