I don't know if you are in the position to have your own rink, but there is
always selling dasher boards. If you don't have your own ice, perhaps you
could sell space foryour home rink and split the revenue. Around here,
space goes from $500 to $2400 an ad, with the cost of production of the ad
being about $350. It takes some doing, but we have raised a lot this year.
The beauty is, the next year, you charge the same, (with a small
discount), and have no production costs. We still to 50-50, but the
dashers have done wonders in getting us into the black.

Another idea:

A coach-friend of mine in Canada suggested to me once of doing a "Pub
Night." You sell tickets for a particular bar for a particular night for
say, $10, and the people who purchases the tickets get a beer and a
burger. You buy the tickets from the establishment for $2 to $4. It is
suppose to make a good profit and also be a great social time. I haven't
tried it but it looks good on paper and it sound like a blast.

Also, approach women-owned businesses for corporate sponsorships... it is
working here.... good luck!
