Who is interested in playing hockey in Switzerland?
"SC Lyss Damen" has been the women's Swiss Champion for the last
two years. The highest Division (A) has six teams that compete
for the Swiss National Titel, and Lyss is one of them.
Lyss is looking for a second foreign player who would like to play
in Switzerland this coming winter. During the last three years Lyss
always had at least two foreign players. Riika Nieminen and Tiia Reima
fome Finland (National Team members), Sue Merz (National Team member)
and Rachel Rochat from America and Marion Pepels ( National Team member)
from Holland are some of the players who have played for Lyss in the
past.
Many outstanding players have been on Swiss Teams in the last 4 years:
- Heidi Chalupnik (Team USA '90)
- Andria Hunter (Team Canada '92 and'94) My favourit player! (Hoi Dandy!) :-)
- Kelly O' leary (Team USA since..?)
- Judy Diduck (Team Canada since...?)
- Sandra Whythe (Team USA since '92)
- Hanna Terrioki (Team Finland since...?)
- Chris Falconer (Canada)
- Lynn Robert (Canada)
- Kim Reid (USA)
- Sari Saha (Finland)
- Mary-Ann Forbes (USA)
- Michaela Hildebrant (Germany)
- .......etc.
Lyss is also very interested in players who have dual citzenship: Swiss/American,
Swiss/Canadian,etc.
Each Swiss Team is allowed to have two foreign players. Half Swiss wouldn't count
as a foreign player!
