Subject: Weekend scores
Message-ID:
UNH's first two league losses of the season dropped them into second
place for the ECAC playoffs while Brown's sweep makes the Bears the
regular season league champs. (All this info should be correct.)
Here are the teams that made the playoffs and their seeds:
1. Brown, 28 points
2. UNH, 27
3. Dartmouth, 24
4. Providence, 22
5. Cornell, 20
6. Northeastern, (17 points entering today's game with SLU)
7. Princeton, 16
8. Colby, 15
So next weekend all eight teams play in the quarterfinals, with the top
four teams hosting the next four.
Here are this weekend's scores (still waiting on NU-SLU):
Brown 5, UNH 4
Brown 8, Colby 3
Providence 5, UNH 3
Providence 4, Colby 1
Cornell 3, Northeastern 0
Princeton 6, Boston College 4
Dartmouth 2, Princeton 1
Dartmouth 2, Yale 0
Cornell 5, Harvard 0
St. Lawrence 4, Harvard 3
Here at Princeton we got to see a great game between Dartmouth and
Princeton today. Lots of back-and-forth action and two excellent
goaltending performances by Princeton's Liz Hill and Dartmouth's Sarah
Tueting. In the end, Dartmouth's three lines seemed too much for
Princeton's two, and the Big Green scored in the third to win, 2-1.
