I was just about to post a similar message for my team, the Chesapeake
Bay Lightnings! We have an A and a B women's team. We skate in the
Washington DC/Baltimore metro area, certainly a day's drive from
Philly, and are always interested in finding teams to play -
especially at the B level. The A team just joined the mid-Atlantic
women's league this year - does your team play with them?

Let me know what level you think your team is, and we can get our
     respective managers together!

     Thanks,
     Jan

I am writing for our women's ice hockey team at our skating club in Elkins
Park, just north of Phildelphia. Our skating club is the Old York Road
Skating Club and the coach of the club's women's ice hockey team is Mike
Connolly. We have a pretty solid team and are looking for other's women's
teams to set up games with who are within a day's drive from our club. If you
are on a team or know of a team that would be interested in competing in a
regional league, please let me know and I will pass the word along to Mr.
Connolly. Thanks very much. Kick Ice! Best, GG.

This is advice from a woman who devotes all of the time she does not spend at
Wang to ensuring that as many woman can play ice hockey as wants to and at the
level they want to. This is concerning the possibility of Northeastern losing
varsity status. These are suggestions as to who to write to and what to
include. All other schools will find this handy too.
