  I myself have checked into some prep schools, w/ the same reasons in 
mind.  I know there are several, in fact, many, w/ girl's programs, off 
the top of my head Lawrence, Williston Northampton, and Berkley.  I know 
at least one of them gives an hour and a half ice time a day to varsity, 
and i hr. for jv.  Look into the cutis/vincent catalog of independent 
schools, that lists many, but not nearly all.
