You know, I don't remember the Four Nations ever being on TV.  The 
Worlds are always on, along with the finals of Senior Nationals and CIS 
Nationals. The Four Nations, not so much. If the Four Nations was ever 
shown, I suspect it was probably in a pre-Olympic year, when there is 
more interest in women's hockey.

Women's hockey is quickly becoming like bobsled and nordic skiing in 
this country - widespread interest during the Olympics, limited 
interest during the other 3 years and 50 weeks.

Since the tournament was in the States, my suspicion is that no US 
network was carrying it. Therefore TSN (and it would have to have been 
TSN) would have had to mount the production themselves. I'm not 
surprised they elected not to. If the tournament were in Canada, they 
might have considered it. This might have been fodder for WTSN, had 
they not folded.
