I am forming a BOYCOTT of all ITECH Equipment until they change the name of this stupid product!

>Also, my feet have been freezing lately in the cold rink.  I just wear plain cotton athletic socks to play.  Does anyone have wear anything else when they play?  I'm concerned about wearing something non-absorbent in my skates, but the cotton just isn't keeping me warm enough this cold winter.

The best way to stay warm is to avoid ALL cotton at all costs! Cotton absorbs moisture - so when you sweat whatever you are wearing will stay wet. Wet = COLD.

COOLMAX! The best stuff ever invented!

Start with your socks. You can get coolmax socks at most sporting goods stores. REI.com has a very good selection. (jsut do a search on coolax socks, andyou will find about a dozen different kinds). Personally, I liek to use jsut the coolmax sock liners in my skates. (I hate thick socks in my skates.)

If you take off your skates, and your feet are wet, you will benefit greatly by switching to coolmax socks!

as far as other clothes - non-cotton thermal tops and bottoms (again, coolmax). A coolmax t-neck is also good under your gear.

If it is really cold out. I also put on a polarfleece vest under my gear. (It is Less bulky than a jacket.)

We have practice outdoors twice a week - I swear by this stuff.

Let me know how this works out for you!
