I hate to plug commercial entities on the list, but General Mills have just
released a series of 4 (free with cereal) DVD's featuring Canada's Gold
Medal hockey wins last spring. I got #2 (Golden Games) today with a box of
Cheerios and was pleased to note that the women's team is given equal time.
Cassie Campbell hosts the women's portion (of course) and there are short
interviews with a number of players as well as the highlights from each
game. Clocks in at just over half an hour, good quality. Think I'll buy up
the rest too...it seems the only way to get the women's triumph on DVD, as
the highly-hyped Canadian Hockey video release was "all men", so I
understand.
