A quick addendum to the earlier release on the UW women's hockey climbing to No. 4 in the Dec. 16 USA Today/American Hockey Magazine poll. 

• The Wisconsin women have not been ranked higher than Minnesota-Duluth since Dec. 5, 2000 (the Badgers' second season). 

• Additionally, this marks the first time ever that both the Wisconsin women's and Wisconsin men's hockey teams have been ranked in the top-five nationally.
