We thought it would be fun to host a tourney on the big 2004 Mardi Gras
weekend. St. Louis has the second largest Mardi Gras celebration in the
nation and it is a great trip.

We were thinking of holding games all day (2 games for all teams) on Friday
Feb. 20, 2004. No one would have games on Saturday to allow them to enjoy
the parade and festivities. Then everyone would have their 3rd game plus
championships Sunday morning and early afternoon.

Here's my question.  First are any teams interested. With the advanced
notice would most of your players be able to get that Friday off? We'd
definitely try to schedule the local and closest teams first on Friday
morning, to help with the farther teams late Thursday travel.

We'd like to do an 8 team tourney with a novice and rec division.

I'm looking at ice now but I don't want to commit until I get some feedback
from everyone.
