The Illinois Storm senior women's B team, beginning it's seventh successful
season, will be holding tryouts for the 2002-03 campaign on Saturday Sept.
14th and Saturday Sept. 28th. Tryouts will be held at Johnny's Icehouse with
times and additional information available at the website,
www.illinoisstorm.com

The Storm is a competitive, advanced level team in search of former college,
AAA,
and skilled senior level players. The team is ideal for players who are
serious about their hockey while competing and improving within an atmosphere
of fun. As the premiere senior women's team in Illinois, our goals are also
to win and advance into post-season play at the State, Regional and National
level.

Contact team manager Lisa Kruss at email@hidden or coach Dave Logan
at email@hidden for answers to any immediate questions you may have
about the Storm program.

Here's a question that I'm guessing someone here could help me out with.

We have an offer from a sponsor (Tim Horton's) to outfit all the
teams/groups in our FUNdamentals division. The form asks us to specify
which NHL team sweaters we want for each team.

Our association colours are black, yellow, white, and red. (Our older kids
will be wearing custom sweaters based on the Buffalo Sabres style.) We
want to choose four sets of sweaters which more or less match our
association colours.

As far as I can tell, these are our options:
Mostly white: Bruins, Flames, Penguins, Panthers
Mostly black: Bruins, Penguins, Flames, Panthers alternate.
Mostly red: Panthers, Canadiens, Blackhawks, Red Wings
Mostly yellow: HELP? Are there any standard sweaters with a lot of yellow
in them?

By the way, any of you who are running a FUNdamentals program or other
non-competitive division in Canada or in an area of the USA where you have
Tim Horton's - check out the Timbits sponsorship program. They're easy to
deal with, and part of the program is that they give the kids free Timbits
after their games/practices.

Louise

Black - the Sharks third jersey, although it wasn't the luckiest of colors
for us. Our home jersey is mostly white.

Yellow - The Nash Pred's 3rd jersey is a really disgusting baby poop
yellow. REALLY ugly!!

Good luck.

Old Canucks and Kings, along with the third jersey of
the Bruins (with the bear logo).

The Bruins 3rd jersey is a nice bright yellow.
