Team Canada beat Team USA 2-0 to win the WWIHC in Rochester last night.

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that we won the gold medal at the
Women's In-Line Hockey World Championship!!  Team Canada defeated the
USA by a score of 2-0 in the gold medal final game yesterday.  I played
some of the round robin games and then rested my knee so that I was
able to play in the gold medal final game.  It was a really exciting
win!!!  Thank you to those of you who made the trip to Rochester, NY to
cheer us on.  We also convinced the Mexican, Australian, and Great
Britain teams to cheer for us ... so we had quite the cheering squad!
Australia defeated Japan by a score of 6-3 to claim the Bronze medal.
