all:

I could suppose that everybody is tired of hearing me chime in with this
tune...In regards to ice costs (delayed response, back from USA Hockey
Inline Youth Nationals, Polar Bears Girls' 12's got third place, Boys 17's
ninth place, Jimmy and Arlene both Easton Skills Contest National
Champions!)

at our Municipal inline facility, travel team floor time is free, included
and costed into the individual players $20 player fee on a three-month
seasonal basis. When more of our municipalities (as our City government here
in El Paso did several years ago) come to believe that hockey players
deserve a city-purchased and maintained place to play, juts like football,
soccer, basketball, vollwyball, etc., then the industry will be taken out of
the private sector, and we will all enjoy reasonable player costs to play
hockey...

Please feel free, and encouraged to accost your municipal powers-that-be,
and ask them why they are not providinh this service, yet. Ask them when
they are going to...If they say they don't know how, tell 'em to call me...

Thnaks for listening again...

-Dan, Caitlin, and all the Polar Bears in El Paso, Texas

incidentally, Girls 13-17's Polar Bears now have eight players, training
camp is over Labor Day Weekend...here we go into the most exciting year ever
for Girls' inline hockey...

Has anyone heard anything about what's going on at the US Women's Festival
and Canadian U22 Training Camp this week? I can't find anything on the USA
Hockey and Canadian Hockey websites. Thanks.

Denise

Would anyone out here happen to have the 1990 WWHC from Ottawa taped and be
interested in doing a dub of the game for me? I'm also looking for copies of
the three TSN Challenge games from this past year between the US and Canada
as well as any of the Skate To Salt Lake Tour games that were televised on
local TV stations (Boise, ID & Detroit MI).

If anyone can help out, please contact me.
