Johnny's Ice House in Chicago is hosting their Midwest Elite Girls Hockey 
Tournament on February 23-25, 2001.  Four game guarantee, 15 min periods, 
$595 entry fee.  Divisions:  U10, U12, U15, U19 and High School.  All those

Me too. I know some women who actually use panty-liners cut in half, and 
stick them in the chin rest. Interesting hockey bag item, if you also 
play with guys ;^)

So far as I know that's the real reason, and the second is not having 
them falling out. Lots of players spit them out on the bench, and do 
weird things with them while skating, so....
But regardless, in the US, it's a USAH rule, and has been since the last 
rule book change for the 1999/2000 season.

The Canucks Alumni and the NWHL Vancouver Griffins will face off in a charity
game this Saturday November 25 at 7:00 pm at Bill Copeland Arena in Burnaby.
Proceeds from the game will go to the BC Hockey Benevolent Association, which
assists non-profit organizations such as Canuck Place, Camp Goodtimes (for
children with cancer), and the Larry Ashley Scholarship fund. Tickets are
available through Ticketmaster http://www.ticketmaster.ca or call
