This is my third year as a referee, and I am one of the only female refs in 
North Jersey. I do mostly might and squirt level games. One of the problems 
for me to do girls games is schedule wise. They are usually backed with boys 
bantam or midget game, and assigners usually assign several games in a row to 
refs. Therefore I do not get the girls game.

If you want to see more female refs than get out there and get certified. It 
is a great income for  teenagers. Where else can they make that kind of money.
