Does anyone know why Tara Mounsey was not selected to the US National team
that will win, I mean compete :-), at the WWHC? I thought I read somewhere
that she got hurt during the season at Brown but cannot confirm this. If
anyone knows what's up, please contact me!

Thanks to all who mailed me information about Tara Mounsey. The info was
greatly appreciated! :-)

One final question on Team USA here. Why is A.J. Mleczko listed as a
defenseman now and not a forward? Is this due to Tara's absence possibly? I
know she was back on 'D' at Three Nations but I assumed that was due to the
US player shortage back then. A.J. is a great center but kind of slow and
uncoordinated for a 'D', don't you think? Could this be due to the
overabundance of skilled US forwards that they converted her?? If I could put
one player in on 'D' as a replacement it would be Alana Blahoski. Not only is
she fast and a good one on one player, she also played 'D' in college.
Thoughts?

AJ slow and uncoordianted????!! Gimme a break. If you want to see a slow &
uncoordinated defenseman, I suggest you come to a LI Hurricanes or Chicago
Ice game and watch for # 77! THAT will put things in perspective for ya!
:-)
