Hey there. I have a friend moving from New York City to the Minneapolis
area fairly soon, and she'd like to start learning to play hockey. She's
in her late 30s, a rank beginner -- minimal skating skills, no hockey
experience -- but generally pretty fit.

Does anyone know of an appropriate program in that area?

Thanks

The Mid-Atlantic Women's Hockey League (MAWHL) has a least one team in NJ.
The link to the MAWHL is http://members.aol.com/ellenalex/mawhl.html

Maybe you can get info on the team itself, or contact someone in the league
to get info.

(My team's in this league, btw)
