I've created a web page that contains links to every women's hockey
book that I know of. You can order the books online from amazon.com,
which is a reliable company. You can get to it using this address:
   http://www.cs.toronto.edu/~andria/general/books.html

If I'm missing any women's hockey books on this list, please let me know.

Fellow Listers,

I know it's a long shot, but I will be in Heidelberg, Germany Monday and
Tuesday. Is there anyone on the list who lives in that area that could help
me out with a place to skate, or even practice/play some hockey? If so,
email me direct.

Thanks!

Subject: Cammi at the All-Star Game

Hi Y'all. Heidi Kay reporting from Tampa Bay. We are psyched to be
attending the NHL All-Star Game this weekend. There is a great big
exhibitiion at the Convention Center called NHL Fantasy which has all kinds
of terrific interactive games and exhibits (virtual reality goaltending,
fantasy broadcasting, slap shot and stick handling contests, etc) There
are a couple of great histroy exhibits, including a nice on on Women's Hockey.

Last nite we came home from the FANtasy and were flipping channels and saw
Cammi Granato on a news talk program. We had not heard that she is playing
in the Heroes of Hockey Game today at the All-Star weekend. We are pretty
psyched!! I believe it being televised on ESPN at 7PM. Check it out.
(and look for us in the nosebleed section -- hey, at least we have tickets)

Subject: Vancouver Superseries Tournament - July '99

The Vancouver Superseries tournament will be held July 4-11 this
summer. There are two female age brackets which are:

Junior Women's: -- born 1982 & under (17 & under)
Senior Women's: -- born 1978 & under (21 & under)

I can highly recommend this tournament. We enjoyed playing and also
being scouted by some of the top collegiate coaches in the United
States. One of our players was even picked up to play for a Division I
team back east. A few others are going D1 and DIII at the end of this
year. It is a great place to be seen during the summer.

Our team had a great time playing against some very high caliber teams
such as Vancouver Selects and Calgary Dynastars. For more info you can
visit their web site at:
http://www.superseries.com

I have no connection to the tournament other than as a
participant/coach, but if you have any questions I will try to answer
them. Hope to see you there!
