Here's a page that lists a number of women's hockey books that you can
order from amazon.com ....
   http://www.cs.toronto.edu/~andria/general/books.html

Or you can find this page from the "General Information" link in my
women's hockey web site.

From the "quick index" in the women's hockey web site at
  www.whockey.com
go to the "Ontario" page, and you'll find a link to it
from there.

I recently tried to order some books from amazon and had a TERRIBLE
experience! I suggest using www.barnesandnoble.com which has proven to be
a much friendlier company. The price for "Crashing the Net" is the same at
both places but the service at Barnes and Noble is MUCH better!

Also, does anyone know where I can get a video copy of the final Olympic
game?

Thanks!

Subject: Skate Sharpening Question

Hopefully someone on the list here can lend a hand to a guy who hasn't a
clue on this stuff. :-)

I purchased a new pair of Bauer skates and skated on them out of the box
about a dozen times. I took them to get sharpened the other day for the
first time and the person put a 3/8" hollow on the blade. I explained to
the lady that I was just a beginner and wanted something as close to the
"factory" cut as possible as this seemed to be working great for me. She
stated being my weight was around the 215 mark that a 3/8" cut would
help me with quicker starts as the blades dig in more but stopping will
be harder.

Can someone explain the way this hollow business works and if I got the
required cut for my weight range and level of experience. If the cut is
not correct, how much off the blade will I lose in order to correct the
problem or am I stuck with it? I'm hoping the cut is right as I also
bought a Pro Filer Hand Sharpener in the same 3/8" hollow. :-/

Your help on this would be appreciated! :-)

ps. ASIA from Pittsburgh, please e mail me as soon as you can!

No schedule posted anywhere.
Your best bet is to arrive at one of the rinks and purchase a program. Games
will commence early Friday April 16.
Rinks are: Iceland--Matheson Rd. and Kennedy Rd., Mississauga
Meadowvale--Hwy 401 and Mississauga Rd., Mississauga
Fletchers Sportsplex--McLaughlin Rd. and Ray Lawson
Blvd., Brampton
Good luck.
