No, the point is, you have to find the job, make the job, make your own
opportunities. Look at the situation and, since this is a volunteer,
community effort, find where you can serve, make a place for you to
serve. If there is another set of leagues in town, go there. DO not
ever let "pride" get in the way of helping the kids.
In the end, it is your time, your effort and you do have the freedom
to opt out of the loop. Did you ever think the new coach might
appreciate an experienced "assistant?"
